John E. Sununu

John E. Sununu served as a Republican U.S. senator from New Hampshire from 2003 to 2009. Before he served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing New Hampshire's First Congressional District from 1997 to 2002. He lost his re-election bid for the Senate in 2008. Sununu landed various board appointments after leaving office and became an op-ed contributor to the Boston Globe. His father, John H. Sununu, is a former governor of New Hampshire.
