Sarah Palin is the author of the forthcoming book "Going Rogue: An American Life," and the former governor of Alaska. She was elected in 2006 and resigned in 2009. Sarah Palin's previous experience includes leading the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. She also served as the mayor and a councilwoman in Wasilla, Alaska. When Sarah Palin was governor of Alaska, she attempted to sell a state jet on eBay, and she oversaw the controversial bridge to nowhere, eventually killing the project due to lack of federal support.
