Stand up for the facts!
Our only agenda is to publish the truth so you can be an informed participant in democracy.

During the course of our work, sometimes we hear back from the people we fact-check. Maybe it’s to apologize for getting something wrong or to acknowledge not getting it quite right. Or it could be to defend what they said.
Now we have a way to catalog and share those responses. We call it "After the Fact."
Beginning today, when a pundit or someone we fact-check responds to us in a meaningful way, we will attach the response to the original fact-check. Our first "After the Fact" comes from Bill O'Reilly, who took issue with PunditFact's False rating of his claim that the Denver Post "has actually hired an editor to promote pot."
O'Reilly said we were "wrong."
While we disagree with his assessment, we wanted to give you the opportunity to read his take. It's now at the bottom of the original fact-check.

You can also search for all responses by using the "After the Fact" subject field. That's available here or by searching through the subjects list.
If you catch someone responding to one of our fact-checks, email us at [email protected] or reach out to us on Twitter @PunditFact.
