PolitiFact fact-checked former President Donald Trump's July 31 appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists Convention and Career Fair in real time.

Trump spoke for over a half-hour with three moderators: ABC News senior congressional correspondent Rachel Scott, FOX News anchor Harris Faulkner and Semafor politics reporter Kadia Goba.

NABJ posted July 31 that the organization is in conversation with Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign to schedule a Q&A session either in person or virtually in September."
