Former President Donald Trump’s Truth Social posts about his possible arrest don’t include this one

If Your Time is short

  • This isn’t authentic.

Former President Donald Trump has been a regular presence on his social media platform, Truth Social, since March 18, when he claimed he would be arrested in a few days in connection with hush money paid to a woman several years ago.

He’s called the investigation into that case a "witch hunt," stressed his innocence, taken shots at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and urged his supporters to protest.

But there’s no evidence he posted a statement circulating on social media in what looks like a screenshot of a Trump Truth Social post.

"Remember, any indictment of ME is an indictment of YOU," the post says. "If they can indict ME for paying $130,000 hush money to a porn star, they can indict YOU for paying $130,000 to a porn star! If they can indict ME for stealing nuclear secrets, they can indict YOU for stealing nuclear secrets! If they can indict ME for asking election officials to ‘find’ 11,780 votes, they can indict YOU for asking election officials to ‘find’ 11,780."
