Photo of reality show stars doesn’t feature Vice President Kamala Harris, despite online claims

If Your Time is short

  • A photo of three women doesn’t show Vice President Kamala Harris; it’s of three reality show stars in 1998.

There are plenty of old photographs floating around the internet of Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee.

An image recently shared on social media isn’t one of them.

"Kamala didn’t look bad in the 90s though," a Sept. 2 Threads post said, sharing an image of three women posing for the camera.

Claudia Jordan, a TV and radio host and a former cast member on Bravo’s "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," shared it in July 2020 on Instagram.

"Guess who?" Jordan wrote in the caption. "The late 90’s. #1998"

Jordan tagged Mimi Faust and Karlie Redd, who both starred on the reality show "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta."

The women don’t resemble Harris, who in 1998 started working at the San Francisco district attorney’s office as managing attorney of its career criminal unit.

We rate claims this photo shows Harris False.
