Todd Gilbert
Republican Todd Gilbert is the minority leader of Virginia's House of Delegates. He represents the rural 15th District in the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains. Gilbert was born in Newton, Texas and graduated high school in Woodtosck, Va. He's a graduate of the University of Virginia and Southern Methodist University School of Law. He worked as a prosecutor in Lynchburg and Shenandoah County before going into private law practice. Gilbert was first elected to the House in 2005 and served two years as majority leader before Democrats won control of the chamber in 2020.
