Alexander Vindman

Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman is a career officer who was responsible for Ukraine policy on the National Security Council from 2018 to 2020. He was in the White House Situation Room listening to the July 2019 phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that was the subject of Trump’s first impeachment proceeding. Vindman is making his first run for office in 2026, running as a Democrat senate candidate in Florida.
