Ashley Moody

Ashley Moody, a Republican, was appointed to the U.S. Senate in January 2025 to fill the vacancy caused when Marco Rubio resigned to become secretary of state. She was reelected in the 2026 midterm election. She served as Florida's attorney general from 2019 to 2025. She is a former Hillsborough County circuit court judge and a former federal prosecutor.
